Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
Installation
Insert the module into the corresponding slot of the Harmony Rack cabinet, ensuring that the card slot is aligned.
Connect the 24 V DC power supply and check whether both dual power supply redundancies are powered.
Connect on-site sensors/actuators as required, following the voltage/current specifications.
Connect to the upper-level system via Ethernet or field bus, and complete the network configuration.
Commissioning
Use the ABB Engineering software for I/O mapping and parameter setting.
Check the power supply, communication, and fault status through the diagnostic indicators; if necessary, view the module self-test log.
Maintenance
Regularly inspect the terminal blocks and fastening screws to prevent signal failure caused by loosening.
Faulty cards can be replaced via hot-swapping without affecting the system operation.
Record the serial number and replacement time of the replaced parts for easy traceability.
